What the...?! News

I don't get the big fuss on singling out Walmart for its "unfair" employment: I've worked there before (only quit because of my current job starting again and it paying a little more) and I've worked at a ton of other retail places, and have applied at almost everywhere. Therefore I think it's safe for me to assume that many more retail places are about the same when it comes to employment! Sure, I think the wage gap between certain management and the workers "below" them is unfair and that entry-level workers should get paid a couple dollars/hour more, but just know that 1) Walmart isn't

Apparently Mitt Romney thinks that by not having the government give certain college financial aid money everything will be okay, as long as businesses can afford to hire people. There are a couple of problems with this. The most obvious one to me is that even if there are many open job positions, most of the jobs that are needed in this society and that actually pay a decent salary are the ones that require college education. Technology. Healthcare. Leadership and marketing in business.
